I thought I'd create a map that lets you know where we're going, what we'll be up to and a few pointless facts about the location
How to use:-
Use the arrow keys in the top left of the map to move it around, and press the + or - keys to zoom in or out - each coloured pin represents a place we'll be visiting, and if you click on the pin a little balloon will appear with a description of the area and what we'll be up to. If you want to view the map in google maps, then click the link found on the right hand side of the blog.

This took bloody ages...
Good Luck!

Oooh, I SCUBAed the GBR eight years ago now - eek, was it so long ago? Miln Reef was one of the locations that the Kangaroo Explorer took us to. The Cairns Dive Centre on #121 Abbott Street took good care of me, and Geoffrey Smith was my instructor/dive leader. I can also recommend Paddy Colwell's lecture on the fauna of the GBR. His website is at http://reefteach.wordpress.com/
While you're in Cairns, see if the Global Palace Hotel is still in operation. It was a good hostel and the beds didn't have any bedbugs, plus they had sheets and aircon!
